Matthew resides in his hometown Canberra, Australia, where he operates a cafe and writes on subjects of interest. He holds a Bachelor of Science (psychology) from the University of Canberra and has worked in the hospitality sector for over fifteen years, gaining extensive experience in front of house operations including within hotels, theatres, function/event venues and cafes. Currently he is developing his skills in bookbinding with the plan to open a bindery one day and endeavours to further his studies in paper and book conservation. In his spare time he enjoys reading, researching, attending orchestral music and hosting dinner parties.
